2025 is in the rearview and it is now 2026 here in Catalunya (CET). I’ve got a steaming cup of tea next to me and a Swedish dungeon synth album jamming out the speakers. Looking back over my notes, as these New Year posts have become a bit of a tradition here at natchettaylor.com, I see that 2024 was all about survival, finding a place to live, scratching out an existence in a new land. It was all about building and fortifying something, anything. If 2024 was about figuring out how to live, 2025 was about getting to the business of thriving.
The biggest piece of news to deliver is that the Natchet Taylor Band finally finished our debut album. Over the last few days of 2025, the painstaking process of finishing and uploading the artwork, lyrics, tunes, and metadata to the DSPs has been completed. I am pleased and proud to announce that our debut LP “Troubadours of the Swingin’ Doors” will be released on digital platforms February 6, 2026! We are also planning a vinyl release as well. I am thoroughly proud of this album and I hope that you will enjoy it.
2025 had me roaming around Catalunya and Spain. I only had around 22 shows and appearances this year, however, I plan on that being much higher in 2026 with the album completed and my sights set on getting out and playing more shows.
We have a few dates already booked for NTB, but I am also excited to announce a little Spanish mini-tour with my buddy Al aka Red At Night in late April. Keep an eye on the horizon for those dates and more to come.
