Raoul Duke – 1971
Sitting here on the eve of 2024, just around the bend, a plan begins to take shape. I am not sure exactly of the events that are to take place in the future, but I am certain, 2024 will offer much change. Keep in mind, always, that the world is incredibly small. And no matter where one ends up on this planet, music can always connect us. Starting fresh isn’t always easy. In fact, I’d argue that it never is. Letting go of the things you consider to be your roots is a dicey affair. There is always strength in change, even if it is the inevitable, even if it the only way to survive. The brain just isn’t built that way. The familiar seen as “safe”. It’s perceived as “family-like”. If only the etymology of the word gave us a clue…
Apologies for the vagueness but keep it tuned here. I predict some crazy events here in the world of Natchet Taylor. Plans are in motion and changes are around the corner… more than just the year on the calendar.
I have a show coming up soon in the future. Keep an eye out for the announcement of that and see you soon.
